Things we learned in Panama

-sometimes being is more effective than doing

-straight hair will curl on it’s own when given enough humidity

-Faithful is He who calls you and He will also bring it to pass ~1 Thessalonians 5:24

-It’s possible for strong community to form in a short amount of time


-KFC after 10pm is not always a good idea

-Singing “Trading my Sorrows” is more fun in Spanish

-Friendships can be forged across language barriers

-Coconut water fresh off the tree is pretty good (but not my fav) 

-we don’t have to know what seeds are planted or fruit harvested–we need only be obedient

-how to properly cut a bell pepper

-peace is possible even when you don’t know the plan

-Panamanian babies get to nap in hammocks
