2015 in review

It's been an incredible year of growth for Bluebird Uncaged. Here are the cliff notes:

February – we released White Umbrella on the internet for a limited period of time as part of the End It Shine A Light on Slavery Day

April – we travelled to NYC to be a part of Project Dance and hosted our first open workshop in the city.

June – we returned to Panama for the third time on an Uncaged Adventure. Read about our travels here.

October – we unveiled our new logo! and participated in Project Dance ATL.

December – we produced Uncaged Christmas!

Thank you to everyone who has been on the journey with us thus far. Looking forward to more growth and adventures in 2016. Stay tuned for what's next.

Uncaged Christmas recap

Just in awe of how Uncaged Christmas 2015 came together. It was an evening of creativity, fun, joy, and celebration. We packed out 2 shows with about 400 audience members. A cast of 50+ dancers from 6 different arts organizations came together to make it happen. Not to mention our amazing crew and volunteers in the lobby. Looking forward to next year.

The Proia Dance Project took this show to another level with their artistry.

Another huge thank you to Perimeter Ballet, Still Pointe Studios, Atlanta Ballet Centre Ensemble, and Praise in Motion for joining us.

Project Dance Atlanta was so much fun. We love the way Project Dance provides a platform for artists cultivate community and use their gifts to bring hope to the city. It was also cool to have our founder, Rebekah Diaddigo, teach a master class. Here are a few pics from the weekend.
